SUMMARY:King Ayisoba
DESCRIPTION:Traditional music dug up from the future \nBorn in 1974\, near Bolgatanga northeast Ghana\, King Ayisoba plays Kologo (small guitar with two strings attached to a calabash) from a young age. He took care of livestock and carries his instrument in the bush and villages where he discovered traditional harmonic \, ceremonies and ancestral rites! \nHe joined the capital and plunged into the Accra cosmopolitan urban jungle\, and a draft style between tradition and modernity. He met Terry Bonchaka whom he worked with for several years and Panji Anoff the music producer . His first album « Modern Ghanians « was recorded in 2006 The album was immediately welcomed by the Ghanaian public. The single « I want to see you my father» won the Ghana Music Awards in 2007\, King was invited to participate in numerous collaborations. He continues in the same aesthetic \, fusing electronic beats with his gravelly voice\, with traditional instruments. He became one of Ghana’s artists who exports himself the most out of the African continent. In 2008\, King released his second album\, «Africa « and he played in Europe (Sweden \, Norway\, Denmark \, Holland\, Germany \, Russia \, UK \, Belgium\, France \, Switzerland… ) alongside Arnold de Boer aka Zea \, lead singer of the Ex group and producer of the label Makkum Records. They set out a compilation LP from the last two albums in 2012. The band performed at numerous festivals \, and was noticed at Roskilde Festival (Denmark ) and Fusion Festival (Germany) …! \nThe world of King Ayisoba is unique and complex. The rhythms and frenzied dancing mingle with its distinctive voice \, alternately smooth and suave turn\, then rocky and tribal . Their concerts are unique experiences where musical codes are shattered in a raw energy delivered bluntly . King Ayisoba offers a world where the spirit world merges with the painful origins of Kologo music\, concrete and urban Hip Life \, and the cries of a rebellious youth who is still seeking his identity. Trance between the mystical forest and concrete cracked Accra.

SUMMARY:Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir
DESCRIPTION:Raising Money for Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Charity\, join the 2015 Christmas Number One charting choir for a night of hearty carols.  \nThe Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir were first seen on Gareth Malone’s BBC2 show\, ‘Sing While You Work’. Since then they have gone from strength-to-strength. \nRiding an overwhelming wave of support from healthcare workers and the public they released the single: ‘A Bridge Over You’ and landed the much coveted Christmas Number 1 spot on the official UK chart in 2015. The campaign was a social media phenomenon with #LoveYourNHS being shared around the world. \nA friendly rivalry with Justin Bieber also summed up the amazing spirit of the campaign\, with the pop megastar encouraging everyone (especially his own 80 million followers) to get our choir to the top spot over his own release; ‘Love Yourself’\, he went on\, in early 2016\, to present the choir with their No.1 Award in person and 5 years later even collaborated on a version of his single ‘Holy‘.\nThe moment the No.1 news was confirmed and Justin Bieber  presented their award . \nThe choir went on to release a full album in 2016 and to perform at countless NHS and community events along with some highlights including the  2020 Christmas Day Queen’s Speech at Windsor Castle\, the Glastonbury Festival\, the F.A Cup Final\, the Royal Albert Hall for Christmas with the Stars\, Stand Up to Cancer with Boy George\, On Blackheath (with Travis and as guests of headliners Squeeze) and Greenwich Music Time with The Jacksons. They also appeared at the 2021 BRIT Awards with Rag n’ Bone Man and Pink on their version of ‘Anywhere Away from Here’ and at the Major League Baseball ‘London Series’ at the London Stadium. \nThroughout the Covid-19 pandemic\, the choir continued to sing together weekly\, taking their rehearsals online. They produced several projects during this time\, including an ITV News tribute to NHS staff\, virtual videos in support of charity projects\, and a version of ‘You’re Not Alone’ for Ministry of Sound Classical with Alexandra Burke and the London Concert Orchestra. They also appeared with McFly for Britain’s Got Talent’s salute to frontline NHS workers and in August 2023 featured in a Vogue Magazine ‘London Icons’ photo shoot\, with Victoria Beckham among others. \nThey have most recently performed some festive favorites on BBC Radio2\, in December 2025\, as a special guest of Lorraine Kelly

DESCRIPTION:Following popular demand\, Transmission return for a third winter show at the Fox\n\n\n\nDevoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig\, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive\, evocative and influential groups of their era.\n\n\n\nJoy Division were formed in the late 1970s and dissolved in May 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining members went on to form New Order and have achieved much critical and commercial success.\n\n\n\nThe influence of Joy Division\, however\, was far reaching and they were considered the pioneering band of the post-punk movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
