SUMMARY:Da Lata
DESCRIPTION:A high-energy fusion of Afro-Brazilian rhythms\, soul\, jazz-funk\, and trip hop. \nHaving just celebrated their 25th anniversary London’s original global groove trailblazers come to the Fox for the first time on the back of their acclaimed 2025 album ‘Edge Of Blue’. \nDa Lata’s Edge Of Blue not just a return\, but a new beginning\, North London tropicalia born out of the alchemy of longing. Never before have Da Lata woven their many strands so sweetly\, blending their diverse influences with the musical personalities of their extended family into a collection of songs that speak of struggle\, survival\, and ultimately hope. \n  \n \nDa Lata is the brainchild of producer Chris Franck and DJ/broadcaster Patrick Forge\, Da Lata emerged from the vibrant intersection of London club culture and Brazilian influence in the late ‘90s. They combine world-influences with the melting pot of their native city\, carving out a space that was equal parts sun-drenched and rhythmically global. \nKnown for deeply spiritually uplifting live shows and a long list of heavyweight collaborators\, from Tony Allen to Jhelisa\, Bernie Worrell to Mayra Andrade\, Da Lata’s return is both a homecoming and a celebration of one of the UK’s most iconic and enduring musical forces.

SUMMARY:LILA invites... Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy + more
DESCRIPTION:Rinse FM resident and Brighter Days Family member\, LILA\, takes over the Fox & Firkin this November for a night exploring the depths and offshoots of soulful\, disco and deep house flavours. Led by the legendary selector and curator Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy\, alongside a selection of incredible DJs from the new generation of soulful sounds. This is a multi-generational party where the dance floor and sound matter most. Come with your comfiest shoes! \nLINEUP: \nColleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy / LILA / FELIXCW / KOJAY / Juno \nAs testimonials go\, this one provided by Vinyl Factory when discussing Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy takes some beating: “The biggest heroes of the underground typically wouldn’t describe themselves as such. Frankie Knuckles\, Kelli Hand\, Andrew Weatherall… all possessed a humility that made them even more honourable and endearing\, and they went about their business with little regard for fame and a distaste for industry bulls**t. Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy falls firmly into this category.” \nWhether she’s DJing at her Love Dancin’ sound system at We Out Here\, musically hosting the Loft parties\, curating a Classic Album Sundays event at the Royal Albert Hall\, presenting her weekly Balearic Breakfast radio show or remixing The Cure and Secret Night Gang\, there’s always an abundance of impulses bubbling away.
