Mista Savona invited his favourite musical collaborators from Jamaica to fly with him into Cuba in 2015\, and in 2017 the first ‘Havana Meets Kingston’ album was released to widespread critical acclaim. The project features giants of the two musical scenes – Sly & Robbie\, members of Buena Vista Social Club\, Los Van Van\, Irakere\, Ernest Ranglin & many more greats. \nThis show features Savona himself behind the decks\, accompanied by live instrumentation which promises to channel the creative flair of the original album. \nHiphoppapotamus is a DJ\, producer and sonic architect of joy — a constant source of sunshine\, whatever the weather. His productions blend rootsy Afro\, Latin and Caribbean rhythms with Breaks\, House\, Drum & Bass/Jungle and Hip-Hop\, he’s crafted a signature sound that’s instantly uplifting and irresistibly danceable.
