This promises to be a night of high energy, genre-blending nu jazz from two innovators of the scene: Ebi Soda & XOA.

Characterised by erratic drum breaks, multi-effect soundscapes and searing trombone lines, Ebi Soda keep a post-punk DIY ethic close to their hearts, with songs often birthed from sweaty smokey bedrooms rather than that of the big band hall. Led by Ash Walker, who is a London-based DJ, producer, curator, bandleader, and intergalactic sound-dealer. A world-renowned crate-digger of soul, jazz, R&B, latin, dub and roots.

XOA create hard hitting Jazz with big analogue electronic sounds. The focus is on the playing, but with a lot of care and focus on the individual sounds, drawing on bandleader Nick Tyson’s experience as an electronic music producer.
