Welcome to Indie Rising, a monthly musical journey that will ignite the vibrant spirit of indie music lovers at the Fox and Firkin in Lewisham. This night promises to spotlight the most exciting sounds coming out of London’s renowned underground scene.
Harry Mold: A songwriter and storyteller from Essex, 25-year old Harry Mold has already made his mark as a dynamic contributor to the UK indie/punk scene. From combining the classic sounds of indie rock with soulful vocals to incorporating classic guitar riffs into underground drum and bass, Harry’s dynamic crossing of genres marries the art of storytelling with gritty textures and melodies to create a unique yet nostalgic listening experience.
Scout: Hamburg born, Sweden raised and now firmly London based having moved to the capital at the age of 17, Scout’s transcendent pop creations are cathartic and empowering in equal measure. Partly tracking her journey as a young woman finding her footing in this industry (having operated in a shoegaze band signed to Heavenly Records in her late teens), Scout is a project rooted in defiance and knowing your worth.
The Home Service: Ladywell locals formerly known as The Home Service are excited to make their Fox & Firkin debut to show off all new original tracks with cutting guitar riffs and silky vocals, don’t miss out on seeing the new kids before they blow up!
