Our monthly rock night is turning up the volume with a special edition you won’t want to miss. We’re thrilled to announce a very special guest DJ set from none other than Mike Joyce, the legendary drummer of The Smiths plus three of the most exciting bands in the uk scene.
The live music kicks off at 9 PM and goes until midnight, paving the way for a night of DJ sets and dancing that will keep you moving until 3 AM, when Mike will be spinning an eclectic mix of 80s and 90s alternative disco, guaranteeing a night of non-stop dancing and nostalgia.
Let’s meet the bands:
Humane the moon: Hailing from East London’s Leytonstone, Humane The Moon is a project born of dissatisfaction and desire – dissatisfaction with the Groundhog Day mundanity of the standard 9-5, and desire for something more visceral than the more mellow bands of his youth. Expect raw post punk energy and gritty guitars which come to life on the live stage.
The Rizz: A high-octane Rock and Roll band from South East London. They bring an electric buzz to their shows and play every gig as if it was their last. Taking influence from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Sex Pistols, Van Halen and Ian Dury. They combine an eclectic mix of British and American rock and roll. Exploring the harsher side of existing in London and finding individuality in a city of millions.
Fever Rouge: Known for infecting the audience with their devilish flair and electric energy, are here to spread the Fever. And you are next! Based in Brighton and thriving in the South UK alternative rock scene, their performances are nothing short of a perfect chaos.
