We proudly present a bi-monthly night celebrating the wonderful sounds of South East London. This roster focuses on the diverse array of alternative rock and folk with four artists each bringing a fresh sound to the SE scene.
Tinpot
This is one of the rare gigs where we’d urge you all to keep your receipts. That way, when you’ve followed Tinpot to the pyramid stage of Glastonbury you can turn round to the pilled-up goon next to you and proudly show ‘em you once saw Tinpot for a fiver!
Mofgy
Fresh off the streets of Bromley, Mofgy blends folk, punk and rock n’ roll before chasing it all with silky indie pop. It’s a unique concoction that’s been pricking ears all over the capital. They’ve been earning a reputation as one of the most exciting and energetic live acts on the London scene and are definitely not a band you’d want to miss.
Splitting Edges
South East London based indie-rock duo, led by Lydon Peacock and Bradley Osborn. At the root of Splitting Edges music you can find a combination of intimate lyrics, raw energy and an authentic and aggressive sound.
Clara Pople
Soul/trip hop looper with the lungs of a deep-sea diver, the heart of a Barbary Lion and the voice of an English choir girl. Blending influences as vast as early trip hop, electronica and folk, soulful avant-pop, she is not defined by genre. Using a vocal looper to create densely layered harmonic backing and drawing on her choral and gospel background, Clara sings to make grown men weep.
