We proudly present a monthly night celebrating the wonderful sounds of South East London. The first of which focuses on the diverse array of contemporary jazz with three artists each bringing a fresh sound to the SE scene.
“With a formidable, liquid vocal that pulls from jazz, soul and some of the melismatic stylings of north Indian classical, the Peckham-born British-Bengali artist Tara Lily, 24, has been turning heads” – The Guardian
“Tanhai Collective are true to their roots of the melting pot of South-East London. They pull from a wide variety of influences ranging from Broken Beat, Jazz, House, Dub and Hip Hop. Their High Energy sound is at home in any venue be they Jazz Bars or Club Dancefloors”. – Love Supreme
“Upcoming indie-soul outfit with shades of RnB-funk. After sold out headline shows across the capital at spots such as the O2 Academy Islington, The Amersham Arms, the Half Moon and The Troubadour, The Grove have been shaking up everyone’s boat. With a string of quality singles out on spotify and a cast of exceptionally talented members you don’t want to miss them in their journey to the top.” – Bands in Town
