The Early Swerve

The Early Swerve is the creative partnership of best mates Dave Mackinnon (music) and Essex Moorcroft (lyrics). Their unique gangster-folk/nu-skiffle sound is an eclectic mix ranging from Skiffle, Latin Jazz, film soundtracks and 60’s British Invasion bands. The lyrics are darkly comic contemporary narratives, inspired by shady local characters and barstool fables. Live, they combine blistering vocal harmonies with a ragged skiffle punk aesthetic. We’re excited to welcome the band to the Fox for the first time to celebrate the release of their highly anticipated new single. 

Superdays

Superdays, a six-piece indie band from Southeast London with a punchy guitar and keyboard driven melodic sound. All talented musicians in their own right, but when they play together something really cool happens. They have very diverse eclectic music tastes, giving them a sound all their own, which is maturing and developing as they grow. A modern- day love song swimming in melancholic nostalgia…Landing somewhere in the middle of Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys. As good live as they are in the studio! With Joe and Harvey’s infectious indie guitar melodies, Merlon and Harry’s driving rhythm section, Louis blissful keyboards and Cal’s exquisitely, distinctive vocal, audiences seem to fall in love when they see them in the flesh and keep coming back.

Penny Skint

You can expect killer riffs, big fuzzy guitars, booming bass and an array of ‘eat the rich’ anthems. Penny Skint have been making a name for themselves on the live circuit and we can’t wait to welcome them to the fox.

The new kids on the block, Chastilians are playing with a maturity way beyond their years, putting new life into the quintessentially British indie tunes.
