★★★★★★★★★★The South East Subway Presents ★★★★★★★★★★

Welcome back to the South East Subway for our second ever event. We knew we had to make this one special!

I am more than excited to announce our line up!

Three acts for £3!!!

🔥 HyperNova🔥@HypernovaMilitia

Hypernova is an explosive phenomenon and the first of its kind. They fuse Philosophy, comedy and Jazz to provide audiences with a unique musical/theatrical experience. Their aim is not only to entertain, but also to stimulate and challenge audiences intellectual faculties. They draw influences from a plethora of musical styles including: Renaissance music, be-bop, neo-classical music and drill music. As pioneers of the genres Neo-Bebop and Jazz drill we fuse traditional music with the sounds of today. They do not just stop at music, as they draw from philosophy and neuroscience to engage with the minds of our audiences. In a fashion that is simultaneously intellectual and primitive. All of this is complemented with the nihilistic comedy that all of the band partake in whilst on stage. Thus, Hypernova will surely make you move your feet and show you a night you will not forget.

 ★★Margot★★@margotmool

Margot provides a listening experience that will have your body bopping and contemplating its place in the universe. The project features compositions by London-based vocalist – margot mool – which is lovingly crafted with the eclectic mix of musicians that form the group, with influences from J Dilla to Betty Davis to Hiatus Kaiyote.
Margot is fresh from releasing their debut single – Strip It – which journeys from sensual soul to scratchy rock n’ roll in the attempt to reflect the bizarre universal struggle to be ‘attractive’ in the face of heteronormative beauty ideals. The song’s themes of gender-fluidity, vulnerability and acceptance have inspired a series of works centring non-binary artists by photographer Theodorah Ndlovu and a music video directed by Lucrezia Pollice. Despite being their first official release, Strip It was premiered on Worldwide fm by Emma Warren & on Jamz Supernova’s BBC radio 1Xtra show. margot have got a lot more in stall and are currently working on their next record.
