Evolution of Fishermen
Evolution of Fishermen formed in 2021, brought together by a shared love of storytelling, unique harmonies, and original folk songs. Since their formation, the band has quickly established themselves as a prominent presence in the contemporary folk scene.
They’ve worked with notable promoters such as Sofar Sounds, performed at renowned venues including Green Note, O2 Islington, The Old Blue Last, and The Crescent. Their festival appearances include Wilderness, Deershed, LOOPFEST, Gate to Southwell and Medicine Festival (on Sam Lee’s ‘The Nest Stage’).
The band’s debut EP, Days Like These, has received multiple features on BBC Introducing and was launched with a sell-out gig at St. Bartholomew the Great’s church in London in May 2024.
A strong commitment to collaboration and passion for blending traditional and contemporary music led them to create ‘The Circle’, sell out gigs where they collaborate with special guest artists of all genres, arranging their music for a folk band set up.
We cant wait to share the stage at Fox and Firkin with McGovern and Little Wees.
