Babylon Is Falling 5th Anniversary

Born Richard Anthony Wallace in England to Jamaican parents, and grew up in Jamaica, I was immersed in music from a young age. My eldest brother Pat ran the Kingatone Roots sound system, and my early years were spent learningand deejaying with my brother Glen and Dean Ellis (son of reggae legend Alton Ellis) as part of the group “Papa Trio.”

Embracing Rastafari in 1995 transformed his musical direction, inspiring conscious, roots-driven reggae influenced by legends such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown and Alton Ellis.
