This March we welcome the one and only Kenny Dope to Fox and Firkin

One half of legendary Masters at Work duo, the Brooklyn-born icon has been at the forefront of dance music culture for decades, and now he’s bringing that energy to South London.

Born and raised in ‘70’s Brooklyn, Kenny began absorbing hip-hop beats at local block parties, before becoming a buyer for local record shops, developing encyclopedic musical knowledge and a love for digging.

His work spans remixing legends, producing groundbreaking albums like Nuyorican Soul, and releasing underground hits on his labels Dopewax and Kay-Dee Records. Kenny’s fingerprints are all over music that moves generations.

Come open-minded and expect a real dance floor education in broken beat, house, hip-hop and more.
