WAH WAH LIVE PRESENTS : SUNBÖRN MEETS CLAP! CLAP! LIVE

+ LIVE SUPPORT FROM WHERE’S REI?

WAH WAH 45S AFTER PARTY WITH SPECIAL GUEST KINGCROWNEY (DJ/LIVE TRUMPET)

+ DJS DOM SERVINI, RICARDO & FRASER THE ERASER

Wah Wah 45s are proud to present the exclusive, debut full live London show from Danish-Italian collaborative electronic Afro-jazz project, Sunbörn Meets Clap! Clap! Their debut album, entitled Earth Is Begging, was released last year on Wah Wah 45s to huge critical acclaim.

“A fluidly funky transglobal dance trip taking place across Africa, Brazil and the Middle East… A fun, funky and irresistibly danceable album.” Songlines Magazine

“If that hasn’t immediately gone onto your own playlist, I don’t know what you’re doing, that is so good! Such a great release.” Jamie Cullum

“A fabulous album.” Craig Charles

Danish instrumental sextet Sunbörn—winners of four Danish Grammys—join forces with acclaimed Italian producer/DJ Clap! Clap! (Paul Simon, Warp) for a boundary-blurring new project. Blending Afrobeat, Middle Eastern textures, jazz harmonies, and electronic dance music, Sunbörn and Clap! Clap! weave a high-energy soundscape of hypnotic grooves and soaring melodies. The music explores the idea of a cultural melting pot—where traditions meet future sounds, and rhythm transcends borders.

Sunbörn are known for their sunshine grooves, virtuosic horns, and genre-defying warmth. Most recently awarded “Best Live Band” in Denmark, Sunbörn describe their music as “for the body, mind, and soul – speaking to our shared humanity in a time when the world needs to come together.”

Clap! Clap! (Cristiano Crisci) is celebrated for his electrifying blend of electronic production and global field recordings. He contributed beats to Paul Simon’s Stranger to Stranger and his music has appeared in GTA V, PES 2019, Apple TV’s Wolfboy, and more. With five world tours and appearances at Primavera, Dour, Mutek, Boomtown, and Printworks, Clap! Clap! is championed by Bonobo, Gilles Peterson, and Lefto, among others.

Expect a high energy performance with special guest Dele Dosimi, and more tbc, when Sunbörn & Clap!
Clap! come together for the very first time in London town to celebrate this huge release.

In support are young, local heroes Where’s Rei – a genre-defying nine-piece band driven by a captivating brass section and backed by a tight, high-energy rhythm section (not to mention the star of the show: a steel pan!). The band weaves together influences from jazz, funk and Afrobeat to create truly joyous high-energy sets that are bound to make you dance. Hailing from South London, these teenagers have played sold-out shows across numerous London venues and festivals and built a reputation for magically transforming any space into a full-blown dance floor. With vibrant musicianship and quick-thinking improvisation, they deliver performances that captivates audiences and creates a sea of smiles.

Where’s Rei? are a nine piece, multi genre fusion band, featuring a captivating brass section, a tight rhythm section, and a unique sound which turns any venue into a dance floor!” Fox and Firkin

DJ support comes from your host, Wah Wah 45s head honcho Dom Servini, plus DJ partner Ricardo and young upstart DJ Fraser The Eraser playing a selection of foot friendly global grooves encompassing Afro, latin, disco, jazz, boogie and house.

Special guest for the after party is none other than esteemed DJ and trumpeter KingCrowney. With musical output that is deeply rooted in jazz combined with modern dance floor rhythms, Crowney is rising fast in the house music scene. A graduate of Trinity College of Music, he came up through Tomorrow’s Warriors, and has performed with Courtney Pine’s Big Band, Gary Crosby’s Quintet, and Jazz Jamaica.

Bringing that pedigree into the electronic world, he has delivered a remix for Ezra Collective on

Partisan Records, completed a rework for the House Gospel Choir, and collaborated with Jimpster on the Traxsource chart-topping The Back. His track The Passion was remixed by house legend Atjazz, and he has also toured globally as trumpeter for UK super-group Rudimental, featuring on some of their biggest hits.

On stage, KingCrowney is breaking new ground with his DJ/trumpet hybrid set, blending deep

house with live brass improvisation. After a debut at Glastonbury 2025, he is set to appear at the Southport Weekender and Brixton Disco Festival, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting live acts bridging jazz and house.
