Featuring the Cuban big band Orquesta Estelar who are true comrades and donating their talents for the cause.
Money raised to benefit Cuba Vive Medical Appeal, who delivers life-saving medicines, surgical supplies and essential medical equipment to Cuba.
Lewisham loves Cuba, and we have raised £10,000 from our Fundraisers in April and in July. The situation couldn’t be more dire. Cubans are facing blackouts, limited water and food, and a criminal US government threatening a military invasion.
This is a crisis imposed on the Cuban people. People in Cuba are not able to get basic necessities because of the blockade.
Our Lewisham fundraisers are efforts to make solidarity a practical, material help to the Cuban people.
