Description

On December the 11th Mock Tudor returns with its biggest and most electric line-up. Starting at 6:30 the ocean of bands collect at the Fox and Firkin stage we plan to shake what is holy in you this festive season. Didn’t want to go all the way Christmas with this one, just a tasteful sprinkle. However If anyone wants to get there Santa suits on and go gaga we will not stop you! This months line-up includes:

Doctor Doctor are the local rock and rollers that have no shame in causing absolute chaos in your ears. Call them up and they will never disappoint, these musicians are reliable, precise and will look very cool while they reshape your spine. New to the London scene but making lots and lots of noise.

After one of the band members was summoned for Jury service, Jack walked away with a heavy conscious and an Idea for a name. Jury! enjoy’s fast dissonant changes and droning drum rhythms creating a force to be reckoned with. Experimental but with a heart of steel they are sure to leave you wanting more.

Doom Club, the trio of musical fanatics and organised detonations. Playing at the most established venues in London this group has another level of dynamism on stage with the absolute chaos that ensues when the beat starts and the vocals pilot into an incredibly unique live sound.

Lusa Morena are a five-piece band led by Bárbara Almeida, a fiery singer who is from Portugal, as are three of the other bandmates, so you can imagine the energy they bring to their music! Based in London, putting together a band with mostly Portuguese members was not intentional but rather a happy coincidence, leading to an undeniable chemistry between the band members’ felt when listening to their songs.

Neoteric, wonky and oh so very pretty. SE London’s, The Home Service join the list of up and coming bands that characterise the re-imagined sleaze of the smog for the snowflake generation. They gladly headline the fox and firkin, with a turbulent presence and dandified approach they offer their service on the 11th.
