DJ Yoda is a world-class turntablist, producer, and pioneer of audio-visual mixing. True to his Star Wars-inspired name, he honours hip-hop’s roots by remixing snippets of pop culture into fresh, genre-blending creations. Over 20 years ago, he dropped the now-classic How To Cut & Paste: 80s Edition, in which he applied his hip-hop DJ’ing techniques to 1980s pop.
This event is a nostalgic ride for anyone who lived the ‘80s, discovered it through Yoda’s iconic mixes, or met it via TikTok or Stranger Things. Leg warmers and shoulder pads welcome.
