March 18th is going to be a full night of boundary pushing music with Holy Shift.  Holy Shift is an independent collective and record label who put on live nights as well as release original compilations.

On this installation of ‘Holy Shift’ we will be celebrating the release of the new EP, ‘is it the bills?’, Middle Name John will be performing with a full band featuring Alessandro La Barberra, Nix Bakx and Marco Ninni.  Also performing on the on the night there will be a solo set on cello & pedals from the incredible Kristina Rhodes (Cat Burns, Wulu Rachel Chinouriri).  Pub Singer is the new incarnation of Salford born singer/songwriter Kid Cruise. With a growing distaste of the music industry, a prolonged hiatus began. With much self-reflection and re-evaluation, a new character was unlocked; an unconscious act of rebellion in some ways.  Lastly, Dime, a South London boundary pushing quartet featuring Basile Petite, Max O’Donnell, Pete Hill and Sam Warner. Dime create ambient soundscapes and deep driving club beats reminiscent of the early 00’s.  Having played for Artists including;  The Streets, Alfa Mist, Hak Baker and Nubiyan Twist, Dime utilise a wide range of influences in their compositions that move organically between Genre, tempo and texture.
