• Blurt
• The DNA Test (offshoot of Snapped Ankles)
• Lello
• Dave Okumu & The Means

For over 20 years, The Music Complex has been an integral part of Deptford’s creative community, providing affordable rehearsal and creative spaces for musicians, producers and artists.

Following the financial impact of COVID-19 and a significant increase in rent, this much-loved grassroots music space is now facing an urgent funding challenge.

The Music Complex has played an important role in nurturing local talent and supporting the wider music scene. This fundraiser brings together an incredible selection of artists to help secure its future.

Dave Okumu, of Mercury Prize-nominated band The Invisible, shares:

“The Music Complex was central to The Invisible’s development — an affordable and welcoming space for musical exploration and growth. We are grateful for our time there and believe passionately that this space must be supported to survive. They provide an invaluable service to the community and beyond.”

Come down, enjoy an evening of outstanding live music and help protect an essential part of London’s grassroots music community.

Support local music. Support The Music Complex.
