Webmoms

Webmoms is the musical brainchild of UK based instrumentalist-producer-rapper & DJ Karum Cooper. It’s a project rich in influences across the musical spectrum with several millions of streams across platforms, national radio airplay and production credits across the globe, to boot.
Born to an Indian mother and Jamaican father, raised in a household that played everything from 90s RnB to 50s bebop, Punjabi Hip-Hop to classic Calypso and everything in between.
Webmoms took his love for music to the DJ booth in 2024, when he made his first public appearance behind the decks performing at Boarmasters Festival 2024 on the VIP stage. The following year, he did a 3 hour set to a packed out, 4000 capacity ‘View’ stage at the same festival.
Since then, he’s gone on to DJ for Brick Lane Jazz Festival, afterparties for afrobeat legends like Dele Sosimi and K.O.G, as well as pack-out, sweaty club shows in his hometown of Falmouth, Cornwall.
Webmoms prides himself on hand-picking tunes from across the afro-diaspora, creating a space where global flavours like Dembow, Baile Funk, Reggaeton, Afrobeats and Amapiano fuse with Rare groove, Breaks, Future Garage, Deep house and UK Bass music, creating a melting pot that is ever evolving, intensely rhythmic and deeply hypnotic.
